The Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco last April was flocked by interested parties mainly from the West coast. For the sake of those who live in the East coast, a Web 2.0 Expo is scheduled to happen in New York three months from now. New York is said to be the home of some of the finest financial, advertising and consulting companies, and the Web 2.0 Expo shall bring together developers, designers, entrepreneurs and other web professionals for some new learning when it comes to the internet. Web 2.0 Expo serves as a learning ground for the moguls and internet developers alike, so that they can gain knowledge of the different new things the internet can do, as well as learn from the past failures they have committed.

Sponsors for the Web 2.0 Expo in New York include the software giant Microsoft, SaaS and PaaS leader Salesforce.com, as well as other premier corporations such as Amazon Web Services, Curl, Force10 Networks, Intuit Quickbase, ONEsite, OpSource, Sun Microsystems, Acquia, Awareness, BlueArc, Coradiant, Dixero, Jive Software, Kapow Technologies, LithiumTechnologies, Panther Express, SynthaSite, TSOT, Inc. and WebAsyst LLC. Media coverage is also made possible by Berlin Partner, Fast Company, Revenue Magazine, Topix and WOW (WEBPROTRAINING.org).
