The 2008 CMO Summit is the 7th annual gathering of the CMO Council–a network of 6,000 members in about 60 countries. Seven years after the Brand Recovery Summit in 2002 which discussed how to recover from the dot-bomb Internet bust, a lot of change has happened. The 2008 CMO Summit will discuss ways of opening and optimizing momey making opportunities amidst the current economic difficulties. The Summit participants will be actively involved in developing content, network, share ideas, and interact with executives on the challenges being faced today, and what plans and buzzwords are foreseen for 2009.
There will be no sales talk, no round table discussions, no discussion groups, everything is purely connecting with peers, from the member companies of CMO Council, the likes of AMD, American Express, AT&T, Capitol One, Coca-Cola, Dell, Deloitte, Disney, Eastman Kodak, eBay, Fujitsu, Hertz, HP, IBM, Mastercard, Microsoft, Motorola, Nintendo, Nortel, Oracle, Polycom, RIM, SAP, SAS, Time Warner, Visa, WalMart, and Xerox. Most important of all, the participants and resource persons will explore strategies for oprimization of revenie, efficincies and paybacks from a lot of things like improved analytics, new market entry and geographic expansion, customer monitizaton reactication of los opportunities, and accounts, and many more.
