DomainConvergence will be held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada from September 23-24th, 2010. The third edition of the original Canadian Domain Conference is open to all attendees from around the world and will once more focus on Domain Development. The even will also host a meeting of the Domain Owner’s Association of Canada (DOAC).

Ottawa, August 20, 2009 – The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) is pleased to announce the location of its Annual General Meeting (AGM). CIRA Members are invited to share ideas, network and help shape the future of Canada’s Internet domain.

This year’s meeting will be held on September 22, 2009 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (North Building, Room 107 Constitution Hall), 255 Front Street West, Toronto, Ontario from noon to 6:00 pm (18:00h) Eastern Time.

CIRA’s AGM is an important event for its Members and all Canadians. At this year’s AGM, CIRA will be presenting proposed changes to its By-Law, as approved by its Board of Directors on July 8, 2009, for consideration and confirmation by its Members. The proposed changes to the Bylaws may be subject to amendments, variations and or additions prior to confirmation. Additionally, at this event members will hear about CIRA’s current direction, financial health and what is in store for the future.

Members will have the opportunity to share ideas and ask questions to CIRA Board Members.
