The Company’s 3rd regional event, DOMAINfest Amsterdam, took place in mid-May and was an international success. The conference was attended by more than two hundred guests from nearly twenty countries across the globe, including Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, and Israel. In commenting on the event, Ron Sheridan, Director of Business Development for DomainSponsor, said, DOMAINfest Amsterdam connected international domainers with mutual interests. It was an intense learning and networking experience. While Liz Williams, Senior Policy Counselor at ICANN, reviewed the upcoming round of new TLDs in her keynote speech, DOMAINfest hosted the sale of the highest grossing ccTLD on record. Poker.de sold for over $937,000 at live auction.
