The Boston Domainers Meetup Group organized by Andy Sweet was founded on January 8, 2008, with 12 members involved with the acquisition, sales, development and monetization of domains. As the name suggest this group is made up of members within the Boston area and is inviting other people interested to be part of their network. This March meeting is to be the third meeting of the group and it is open to whoever would like to share ideas and join the discussion on varied topics. They are inviting anyone who makes money from parking domains, selling domains or developing domains. You can meet new partners, and learn new tips, and match some faces to names you’ve seen on domain discussion boards! The slowing economy, slipping stock market and falling interest rates are but a few of the concerns affecting everyone. Is it advisable to invest in domains? How would the recession affect the domain market? These are some of the questions that need to be answered and a meeting of minds will give us the insight if not the solution.
January 7th, 2008EuroDNS Domainer Meeting in Paris
EuroDNS just announced that a DomainerMeeting will be held together with other domain industry leading companies on the 19th and 20th June in Paris.
This date and location have been selected in order to have a domain conference just the days before the ICANN meeting in Paris. The meeting will be held in the same hotel Meridien than the one selected by ICANN, allowing people to just stay in the same hotel for both meetings.
